About Jay
Jay Pitts is the principal broker and owner of RE/MAX Premier Properties in Louisville, Kentucky. He is also co-owner of Premier Property Management Services and Motto Mortgage Premier Partners. He got his license to sell real estate in 2004 after graduating from Bellarmine University, where he received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and was a four-year letterman on the baseball team.
Jay’s interest in real estate began at a very young age while observing his father and uncle, who were successful real estate brokers, builders, auctioneers, developers and property managers in their own right. His sales career began in 2008, following a three-year stint as a mortgage originator. Despite poor market conditions, Jay flourished right away - selling 50 homes in his very first year. Since then, Jay has been one of the most accomplished agents in the RE/MAX network, achieving many local, regional and national awards. Those awards include leading the #1 team in the state of Kentucky for 2021 and 2022. In 2022, his team was ranked #19 nationally with RE/MAX. He’s achieved both RE/MAX Hall of Fame and Lifetime Achievement honors and is poised to be recognized as a Circle of Legends member in 2023. He most recently achieved the Pinnacle Award for team gross commissions in excess of $2 million annually in 2021 and 2022. He was also recognized by Children’s Miracle Network charity as the top contributing RE/MAX agent in the state in 2022. Jay and his team have closed over 5,000 transactions totaling over $700 million in sales volume since inception. On the brokerage side of things, Jay has led RE/MAX Premier Properties’ growth to 105 agents, won multiple Recruiter of the Year awards, and closed on $420 million in sales volume in 2022.
Outside of work, Jay loves to work out, coach his three kids in just about every sport, every season of the year, and travel with his amazing wife and business partner Jen.
