This outstanding home was built in the late 1930's as the country retreat for an executive that resided at the Seelbach Hotel. He required the interior to look like the hotel and even installed an elevator similar to the one at the Seelbach. After numerous updates over the years, all done to carefully preserve the rich heritage of the home, you'll find that same serene retreat, but with wonderful changes that have kept it current. You'll still find handsome random width pegged floors, a slate roof, beautiful stone work and massive hardwood doors that run across the front of the home, inviting nature in. The renovated kitchen has helped host many dinner parties and celebrations here.
